GLYCINE started production of it's first AIRMAN model in 1953, a watch that has become legendary. Desighn and features of this watch had been worked out in close co-operation with pilots of civil and military aviation.

Stainless Steel case 42mm Dia. 11.5mm thick with see-through back, waterproof to 200m, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, double 'o' ring screw down crown, automatic movement, 28,800 vibrations per hour, autonomy 44 hours, oscillating weight on ball bearings, unbreakable mainspring, Nivarox hairspring, date display in window, Hours - Minutes - Seconds of local time and second time zone given by red hand. Quick correction of date and 24 Hr. hand, special revolving case topring with 24Hr. division giving 3rd time zone. ( for the purist, special execution of 24Hr. watches featuring an arrow-tipped hour hand on the 24Hr.dial only.)

{Please note:- There is also an Airman 46 = 46mm case size and an airman 7 with a 36mm case sizethat basically look the same as this model, The airman 8 has three dials but sorry I do not stock that model.}
